Twisted Tree Studio and Gallery

The Twisted Tree Studio & Gallery is located in a two-story, historic landmark building in Hickory, NC. Located at 335 First Ave, SE, the gallery sits on the “four point” spot, an historic junction of four roads marking the official entrance into the city years ago. While portions of the building have dedicated gallery space, the balance is devoted to the art of woodcarving and traditional 18th Century manufacturing. We are unique in offering visitors “one on one” access and contact with Mr. Hamrick and his studio. Twisted Tree Studio & Gallery, owned and managed by Bill Castell Jr. and his wife Dianne, is the standard bearer of Fine Art and Craft creation and Presentation in the Foothills area and the nation.
